verb + བྱ་

The verb བྱ་ bya -- which is a future form 'to do' of the verb བྱེད་ byed -- is used to build compound verbs related to doing a task, instructions what to do, requests, suggestions et cetera. You could see these a lot in བློ་་སྦྱོང་ཡང་ན་སྒྲུབས་ཐབས་ texts. བྱ་ also means bird but it's easy to find those cases as the verb form shows up at the end of sentence structures and not in the beginning or middle parts. After a while you also recognize other non-verb forms such as རེག་བྱ་ - texture, བྱ་ཚིག་ - verb (action word, to do-word) and so forth.

Back to the compound verbs with བྱ་. Here are some examples of these compound-todo verbs with the translations. After a while you start to recognize these and many others in various texts. Note that sometimes the compound verb is using a noun or otherwise leaves out another part where the translation then is using something else than 'to do'.
